Client-Side Cryptographic Data Sovereignty
MyUtilityTools New Zealand (nz.myutilitytools.online) operates on a strict, mathematically verifiable principle of local data sovereignty. We believe your salary, financial debts, mortgage balances, family details, and health parameters are private matters. Unlike commercial financial engines, our application architecture executes 100% of calculations inside your local device's browser memory (RAM).
Compliance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020
In full adherence to the 13 Information Privacy Principles (IPPs) outlined in the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020:
- No Personal Data Collection (IPP 1 – 4): When you enter data into any calculator or utility form, that data is never transmitted across the internet to our servers or stored in any database.
- Storage and Security (IPP 5): Because your parameters reside purely in transient browser memory, they cease to exist the moment you close the browser tab. Session storage (
sessionStorage) is used exclusively on your local device to preserve convenience during navigation across tools, never synchronized with cloud endpoints. - Zero Third-Party Data Sharing (IPP 11 & 12): We do not deploy tracking pixels, third-party profiling cookies, or programmatic marketing SDKs. We do not sell, license, or monetize consumer usage data.
Technical Server Logs & Caching
Our web servers record standard, anonymized HTTP network transmission logs (IP address, user agent, requested file URL, and timestamp) strictly for infrastructure security, DDoS mitigation, and content delivery network routing. These technical logs contain zero user calculation inputs and are routinely purged.
